Day 2 at Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City proved to be even more exciting than day 1. We met Stompy the Mammoth, Skip Yowell, the founder of Jansport, and saw myriad amazing new products.
The highlight of the day, however, was the pedicab ride from the Salt Palace to back to the hotel. After a long day of hiking about the trade show, an exhilarating ride in the pedicab was the ticket. After I jumped in, another pedicab pulled up next to us and the race was on! Through the streets and up the curbs of the Salt Lake City sidewalks we hustled- in the end, my pedicab won the race back to the hotel- it was all in fun.
We’re looking forward to spring 2013 with the new Pro from Black Diamond, telling stories with Mountain Hardwear, goodies from THULE and having Stompy visit the stores.
