Sport Chalet is giving children and adults alike the opportunity to dive with Santa and have an underwater photo taken with the jolly old guy. This fun event will take place, at Sport Chalet SCUBA center locations throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
Participants need not be scuba certified. Children 10 and older can suit up in official Sport Chalet Scuba gear and take their photo underwater with Santa. Younger children can have their photos taken while snorkeling with Santa. All this takes place in the safety and warmth of one of many of Sport Chalet’s onsite scuba training pools.

Yes you need an appt. Kids over 10 and adults can wear a Sport Chalet wetsuit. My kids under 10 are wearing bathing suits; they said whatever you want in the photo.
Oh you do need to bring your own towel!

Our location manager said 12 feet
My husband just went to check out the pool. It is outdoors. The instructor who will be playing Santa said there is a 3 ft. section and then it drops off the 8 feet. If you have small kids, they will work with you which is nice!

You don’t actually need to call and book them. Just show up the day of. These can get really popular, so calling the store you intend to go to and finding a time they reccomend for the shortest wait might help, but otherwise, just show up with a towel and some swim trunks/suit and have fun!
On second reading, you it seems this year it says to call to registure. I’m still not convinced you need to “sign-up” but better safe than sorry.
